In 2023, I passed the sworn translator and interpreter’s exam at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland and was entered into the list of sworn translators.

English has been my passion since my first lesson at school. Over time, the school wasn’t enough, so I learned myself through reading books, watching movies and listening to music.

In 2009, I have successfully passed the English language exam at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

I was looking for an opportunity to use English on a daily basis. I felt confident using both languages, translating and interpreting from one to another.

I became an interpreter and translator quite unexpectedly – starting my position as an Ambassador’s Assistant, due to my language skills, I was offered also the position of a Translator and Interpreter.

As time passed, it became clear that I had an inherent ability to deal with language, particularly English.

Translating and interpreting gives me great pleasure and satisfaction. I’m still learning and aim to be the best.

In 2012, I successfully completed the prestigious Interdisciplinary Postgraduates Studies in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Warsaw, obtaining the very good result.

I have successfully completed a great number of specialized courses and attended many specialized workshops at the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialized Translators TEPIS and the Association of Polish Translators and Interpreters, inter alia English in consecutive and a vista interpreting, English in the Criminal Procedure etc.

I, myself, have had opportunities to teach my fellow professionals, e.g. on diplomatic correspondence or on English terminology and phraseology used in diplomatic and official letters.

I have been a member of the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialized Translators TEPIS since 2014 and, since 2020, a member of the TEPIS General Council.

Being a lawyer is invaluable assistance in performing the function of a legal translator & interpreter. I understand legal language, I am familiar with legal institutions and subtle terminological discrepancies – often incomprehensible to translators and interpreters outside legal profession.

I do both translation and interpreting. The main area of my interest is of course legal translation and interpreting, but also business, academic, or involving sport terminology.

I willingly share my knowledge and passion, teaching lawyers as well as those in the business community legal English in particular, and future translators and interpreters – interpreting and translating legal documents.
